This course introduces entrepreneurship students to the principles of Operations Management with a strong emphasis on Total Quality Management (TQM) as a foundation for building and sustaining successful ventures. It covers quality planning, process improvement, customer-focused strategies, and the use of TQM tools such as Pareto analysis, cause-and-effect diagrams, control charts, and 5S. The course highlights how start-ups and small enterprises can embed quality practices to enhance competitiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Learners gain practical skills in designing operations systems that balance productivity, cost, and quality in entrepreneurial settings.
