BSMA 2-6

This 18‑week course examines the foundations and applications of ethics and morality through both classic and contemporary lenses. Students engage with key concepts, from moral universalism and cultural relativism to major ethical theories—virtue ethics, utilitarianism, deontology, and feminist ethics—via readings from The Elements of Moral Philosophy, curated multimedia resources, and select philosophical texts. Activities blend group analysis of moral dilemmas, theory‑based discussions, and creative presentations, with assessment through an objective midterm and a final applied project, equipping students to analyze and address real‑world moral challenges with rigor and insight.
