Purposive Communication is a general education course that covers writing, speakñig, and presenting ideas to different audiences and for various purposes (CMO

Purposive Communkation is a thræ-unit course that develops students’ communicative competence and enhanœs their cultural and intercultural awareness through multimodal tasks that /xovide them opportunities for cownunicating effectîvely and appropriately to a multicultural auöenœ in a local w global context with focus on the effective use of the English Language, the world's Lingua Franœ. lt equ s students with tools for cñtical evakiation of a variety of texts æd fo‹xises on the power of language and the impact of imagœ to emphasize the knportanœ of conveying message responsibly. The knowledge, slôlls, and insights that students gain from this œurse may be used in their other academic endeavors, their chosæ discipline, and their future careers as they c‹xzipose and produce relevant mal, written, auto-visuaI and/or web-based output for various purposes. lt abo aims to familiarize the Iœmers on the varieties of Englishœ md lexicons from different English-speaking countñœ for a more effective global œrrmunication.
