The course deals with the nature of mathematics, appreciation of its practical, intellectual and aesthetic dimensions, and application of mathematical tools in daily life. The course begins with an introduction to the nature of mathematics as an exploration of patterns (in nature and environment) and as an application of inductive and deductive reasoning. By exploring these topics, students are encouraged to go beyond the typical understanding of mathematics as merely a set of formulas but as a source of aesthetics in patterns of nature, for example, a rich language in itself (and of science) governed by logic and reasoning.
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a student on competencies such as communicate effectively using English language, deliver quality customer service, perform computer operation and internet navigation, demonstrate understanding and knowledge for the foreign cultures and geography in accordance to the industry standards, with emphasis on application of these competencies in providing sales support.

The course also covers the various stages of human development, from prenatal, birth, infancy up to the adolescence stage and the key dimensions of the development of children and adolescents: the physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional development. The course is also focused on the basic concepts and issues on human development and selected developmental theories and principles namely: Freud's psychoanalytic theory, Piaget's stages of cognitive development, Erickson's psychosocial theory of development, Kohlberg's stages of moral development, Vygotsky's socio-cultural theory, and Bronfenbrenner's Ecological theory.
This course introduces students to legal transcription knowledge and skills required by a legal professional working in a legal office that relate to office management, practices and procedure.
Speed building and Transcription designed tot accomplish two major objectives: success in dictation and in transcription. This provides students with preview words to assure that dictation speed is attainable; and develops specific skills needed in the transcription process. On this students' skills depends on practice. The student must understand at the outset that shorthand must be written; but must also impress upon their mind that whatever you write, you must read, hence the necessity for good penmanship. As skill in executing the movements is obtained, the speed may be increased until the forms can be written accurately at a high rate of speed.
This course focuses on the philosophical, technological and sociological foundation of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Philippines. It also covers the principles underlying competency-based training, competency standards, program registration, assessment and certification. The content of the course is intended to provide students with basic understanding of agriculture, sectors of fishery in the Philippines, agrifishery career, importance and role in sustainable development, food security and human health.
The course deals with the study of electric and magnetic fields; resistive, dielectric and magnetic materials, coupled circuits, magnetic circuits and fields, and time-varying electromagnetic fields. It involves a review of vector analysis and types of coordinate system (Cartesian, cylindrical and spherical coordinate systems). Topics covered are dot and cross products of vector. Coulomb’s law and electric field intensity of different charge configuration (volume, point, line sheet charge), electric flux density, Gauss’s Law, divergence, Maxwell’s equations and energy and potential.
General Chemistry is a science course subject which deals with the fundamental concepts of chemistry including classification, properties, composition, transformation and the changes that matter undergoes. This course also extends to atomic theory, chemical formula writing and naming, chemical equations and chemical reactions involved. Concentration of solutions like molarity, molality and gas laws, thermodynamics and phase change.
The course teaches the theory and operation of solid-state devices and control circuits for industrial processes; industrial control applications; electronics instrumentation; transducers; data acquisition system, power supply and voltage regulator. It also covers photo electronics, sensors and instruments used in industrial applications. It includes variable-frequency drives, DC motor, servomotors and stepper motor drives; application of relay logic circuits; and interfacing and programming of PLCs.
This course builds the students’ personal and social competencies (values and attitudes) necessary to executing and delivering excellent service
in any professional endeavor. It introduces students to various service companies and industries and key concepts in being a customer-centric
organization. It enables students to practice practical customer service skills and to manage a project. The study of service culture is essential in
today’s interconnected world, where service industries play a pivotal role in economic growth and societal well-being.
Students will research and analyze the service culture of an assigned country and submit a comprehensive final output. In addition, they will
demonstrate the service practices, norms, and customer interaction styles of that country through a group presentation or performance. This output
evaluates the students’ understanding of global service cultures and their ability to apply these concepts in realistic service scenarios.
This course is delivered through a blended approach, combining face-to-face sessions for interactive discussions and group activities, including
asynchronous discussions, readings, and multimedia resources. This modality aims to provide students with a flexible and dynamic learning
experience
This course covers the fundamental methodologies of attracting new talents needed by the organization with emphasis on effective sourcing of
manpower, selection of prospective employees, matching job requirements and qualifications of applicants in the work place, induction of newly
hired employees to facilitate their integration in the new business environment. The students will be oriented with the strategies and techniques to
fill up vacant positions at the right time with adequate qualifications if new hires will help organizations achieve its business plans and operational
objective for a given period.
Students will culminate the course by developing a comprehensive HR plan that addresses a real-world organizational challenge. This final project
will demonstrate their understanding of HRM concepts and their ability to formulate practical solutions.
The course will be delivered through a blend of face-to-face and online instruction. Face-to-face sessions will foster interactive discussions and
hands-on learning, while online components will allow for flexibility in accessing course materials.
