ARCH 437  ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN 8 - Design of Complex Structures
integrates design principles with building structures, utilities, laws, structural concepts, and ecological planning. prepares students for complex challenges in contemporary practice by emphasizing technical and ecological integration alongside design creativity. Hands-on exercises foster critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation. Towards the end of the course, the students will develop comprehensive architectural design proposal of a Mixed-use Development integrating building systems, incorporating ecological principles for sustainability, and structural concepts for safety and efficiency. . The course is offered through a blend of carefully planned in-person and online (synchronous and asynchronous) sessions.
