Art Appreciation is a comprehensive three-unit course designed to enhance students' capabilities in appreciating, analyzing, and critiquing art. Employing interdisciplinary and multimodal strategies, the course equips students with extensive knowledge of the arts' practical, historical, philosophical, and social significance. The aim is not only to refine students' articulation of their art understanding but also to bolster their proficiency in art research, curation, conceptualization, exhibition, and evaluation. A significant focus of the course is to cultivate a deep appreciation for Philippine arts, encouraging students to explore and understand the diversity, richness, and cultural heritage that underpin these artistic expressions.
