ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS 1 SY2024-25 BSEE 2-1
BSEE2-1

The course covers nodal  and mesh  analysis;  application  of network theorem in circuits  analysis; analysis  of circuits  with controlled sources and ideal  op-amps; fundamentals of capacitors  and inductors;  analysis of DC-driven  RL, RC, and  RLC circuits;  sinusoidal   steady-state  analysis of general  RLC  circuits. A final project that shows the culmination of the concepts learned and their application is expected toward the end of the semester.  The course is delivered through a combination of strategically designed face-to-face and online (synchronous and asynchronous) sessions.

MECHATRONICS SY2024-25 BSEE 2-1
BSEE2-1

This course is an introduction to designing mechatronic systems, which require integration of the mechanical engineering, electronics/electrical engineering, computer engineering, systems engineering and control engineering.  This course deals with sensors, actuators, signal conditioning and processors/controllers such as programmable logic controllers and microcontrollers. A final project that shows the culmination of the concepts learned and their application is expected towards the end of the semester.
