System Analysis and Design provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the processes involved in planning, analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems. The course covers essential methodologies and tools for defining system requirements, creating effective system models, and developing practical solutions tailored to organizational needs. Students will gain hands-on experience in various analysis techniques, including data flow diagrams, entity-relationship modeling, and Unified Modeling Language (UML).

By exploring both traditional and agile approaches, students will learn how to manage project constraints and create systems that meet user expectations in dynamic environments. This course equips students with the analytical, technical, and communication skills essential for a successful career in systems analysis, design, and development.

This course is designed to introduce students to project management concepts and application. This will equip the students with an understanding and appreciation of associated organization, processes and technology of information technology project management. This course study the practical approaches for managing, planning, organizing and implementing information systems projects using modern management techniques. The course will review topics on project life cycle, cost and time estimation, project organization, and project control within information technology domain. The main objective of this course is to equip the students with the general project management background and techniques that are useful in implementing projects.
